Seeking treatment for your emotional health and well being is one of the most courageous steps one can take in their life.

1 in 5 Americans experience mental illness in their lifetime. Are you struggling? More than half of those suffering do not seek treatment. Studies show treatment is quite effective.

Don’t wait to reach out for help. I want to connect with you.

My philosophy is to focus on your needs and the life you want to be living. I don't believe in putting people in a box or in labels. I want to understand your needs and provide you with your own personalized treatment plan. Not all situations require medications, but I want to keep both the options of therapy and evidence based medication options available to you as needed. I want to work together to come up with a short term and long term plan of care that fits your lifestyle and needs.

I have a special interest in treating anxiety, depressive, dealing with trauma, struggles with inattention and bipolar disorders.  Other examples of struggles include (but aren't limited to) problems ranging from struggles with relationships, challenges at work, body image, religion, race issues, dealing with a medical diagnosis, marital struggles, loneliness, social phobia, self esteem, dealing with loss, bereavement, uncertainty in a career path, and goal setting to name a few.

I also focus on women’s issues- dealing with guilt, managing transitions, infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, advocating for equality.

Out of your vulnerabilities will come your strength.

Of NOte

Since my practice is small, I do not treat major psychotic disorders, significant drug or alcohol problems, most eating disorders, borderline personality disorder, dementia or psychiatric emergencies. This clinic is not equipped to manage psychiatric conditions that require urgent care or 24/7 treatment. A mental health clinic or large health care system can serve those needs in a way this clinic cannot.

I do not conduct psychiatric evaluations for purposes other than mental health treatment, such as evaluations required for an employer or school, legal proceedings, disability benefits, or medical clearance.
